lead i-Connect Fintech in Islamic Finance
Dr. Kinan has led Islamic fintech and Islamic finance projects across Southeast Asia and the Middle East. His work includes designing Islamic digital finance products and platforms to support social finance and financial inclusion. Dr. Kinan uses a data-driven approach to foster innovative policies, products, and platforms that align with Islamic finance principles. He serves as an Associate Professor at INCEIF University, Malaysia, specializing in Islamic fintech, data analytics, financial inclusion, and sustainability. Recently, he was the SCOCIS Visiting Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, Oxford, UK. Dr. Kinan also led i-Connect Fintech in Islamic Finance, an innovation fund for Islamic fintech R&D established by the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Technology Malaysia and the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
